🏦 I received notification last night from Bank of Scotland that they intend to close their Uddingston branch on 22nd May.
👎 This is extremely disappointing and leaves neither Bothwell or Uddingston with any bank. I know that for some customers, the trip to the Bellshill branch will not be suitable.
✉️ BOS suggest that customers use the Post Office for everyday transactions . Unfortunately this will not provide every service, such as changes to accounts.
✍️ I will write to them to make clear that this closure does not serve their customers well.
