It was lovely to join Bothwell Parish Church today for their service and was nice to get a chance to speak to local residents afterwards.
I am an independence supporter, a republican and a humanist; but I am also a representative for all of my constituents. I’m grateful to the minister for his kind words online afterwards:
I am personally thankful that Cal came with the other councillors and our MSP to an event where he was able to cross political and party lines to listen and talk to local residents … I’m looking forward to working together with all of the community to work for a better tomorrow.
